A group of 9W2s class B licence in my country, Malaysia, were laughing at me for using a tuner for 2 meter operation. They said nobody in the world use tuner for this band. They said I was not fit for an A licence.

When I heard of the story I just said those people are all smart lot. Then I knew they are very useful to the world. I think the world should employ them as advisers.

In case you are as stupid as me and own one DAIWA CNW-917 you might want to take note of the connection you will have to make to the tuner, in case your manual is missing.

The diagram shows the read end of the tuner. You might be confused with the top left female co-ax plug which says ANT. You only use this one when you are not using the tuner.
