| MORSE CODE TESTER | ||
I am just thinking that MCMC might have problems of conducting CW test due to the increase in numbers of class B hams in the country. So I am developing a software to facilitate the test whereby CW exams will be run by using computers. The diagram on the left is the main menu for each candidate. He can choose which test he wants to start with by clicking Listening or Sending button. The listening test is shown on the right diagram. First of all he has to enter his ID then press the key labelled OK I have entered my ID. Once he is ready he has to press the button which says Listening test begin. He will have to write down the message output by the CW tone. The program will automatically stopped after the end of the message. |

If one were to choose the sending test the image is on the left. To begin the test one has to enter the ID first. Then click the I have entered my ID button. Once one is ready to send he will have to press Begin Sending test. The message to key by the CW keyer is shown in the box below. Immediately after the completion of the sending the button labelled Berhenti has to be pressed. The time end will be shown. To save the sound one has to click the the button labelled Simpan. Other requirements beside the sofware are the CW manual keyer with tone oscilator and a headphone.

TEST PROCESSOR
The test processor program on the left will be used by the tester. The program is not a good one because it does not convert sound to text. The sound to text conversion software can show instantly the number oferors made by the sender when the sound file is played. Thus the test result could be given instantly. Hopefully later I will be able to build such a software. The tester navigates each candidate and play the sound file to check the error made. The test result will be filled in. With the help of those who can developed a sound to text software we can facilitate the CW test for the Malaysian hams. de - 9M2AR - AbdulRahman Raof
