One of the weaknesses of the Malay race is they under estimate their brain too much. They don't know what the brain can do for them. Our brain come with an innate capacity of memory that we don't even have to want to remember. We are not aware of it's ability to store images, sounds and words without our consciousness.

A person having a vocabulary of more than 200 words is certainly able to learn anything. Our media, advertisement and various other suggestions are sending messages into our mind and memory, pushing them in till they become part of us. If the work COKE is displayed 100 time a day, your mouth will say the word 'COKE' when asked what drink  want to have. You don't have even to memorize the word.

When I wanted to learn CW using an electronic key, I knew it would not be easy for an old man like me. But I also know with a constant practice the brain will work for me without my knowing it. I don't have to think how many did and dah my fingers need to move. And your daily driving a car makes your hands move the steering by itself unconsciously.

I am not trying to push or motivate you. It is a fact you should know. In Islam the Muslims are asked to find teachers to learn. A teacher will guide us the right path to follow. Once you get the hint and practice the correct way, you won't realize sounds of characters will be automatically picked  by your brain.

Putting an effort to memorize can be futile and painful, creating stress in your mind and emotion. You will feel it hard and heavy. Morse code is not an effort to memorize the dot and the dash but the mental recognition of the sound pattern and shape, just like the rhythm of the music.

Try to listen a sound a day for at least 30 minutes at intervals. At the same time you must be aware what character is the sound shape. Surely you will be bored. You can read newspaper browse web site and work on your project while the sound is played at the back ground.

The rest leave it to your brain. It will do the work for you.

Should a bank protect a criminal ?

During my working days I just simply hate a long meeting that drags unnecessary hours. And I loath lengthy paper work. A staff member showing his busy work did not impress me a bit. Similarly when a staff propounded his plan and ideal, at time accompanied by pomposity. I just want to see result.

I told the school gardeners the same thing. I want to see a clean compound and toilet, trimmed grass and healthy plants at all time. I did not want to see them working and how they work. They are free to deploy their own methodology they think best.

Long after retirement I still wonder why people like to talk a lot, and giving excuses on their failures. The police explanations and advertisement on how they work and what they do do not impress me one bit.

Effectiveness is not a heap of paper work telling what the police does. It is when the street is free of drugs, petty thefts and crimes. They can show tons of reports from experts and foreign press, and display the statistics on the huge bill board. They can use the media and the big hailers shouting their effectiveness.

The bottom line is what is happening on the street.

There have been an outcry that the police simply allows crime to happen because they busy with catching the opposition members. It allows corruption. Nobody dare to arrest the Ministers who corrupt the people. And police said politicians are more dangerous than the criminals.

The police should stop taking orders from UMNO politicians and Ministers. They are not working for Najib and Hishamuddin. They are to serve the public. The first priority is the public safety. Have a gut to say NO when orders are given to commit murder like what has happened to Al-Tantuya or to the fabrication of evidence or to cause harm to members of the opposition leaders.

In short the blame on the police was it does not give the right focus to the main task.

When  people talk of police are working for or with the underworld we know it is a talk of hatred and untrue. But it does not mean we just can brush it aside. Total rejection of the false accusation is never wise. There must always be 'IF ses' . Strange things were told in the websites.

This business of Process and Result is not merely an academic discussion. It is a real and serious thing to look into. We don't talk on the performance index or tons of written document on What I Am Going Do or What I have Done. If there results show failures then the process has to be wrong. To do things is always different from Do Things Right.

If a stolen money is kept in a bank and the bank comes to know about it, shall the bank keep quiet about it ? Cases in USA shown that all money from illegal activities are confiscated.

No bank should set  a precedence to protect criminals, cheaters, drug kingpin and robbers.

It does not a court to rule whether a person is a criminal or not. If a court's ruling is necessary then all drug peddlers you see on the street and all the bag snatchers you see snatching people's handbags are not criminals unless the court say so.

The moment you shout 'Bloody fool drug pusher' to a group of peddlers they will sue you in court.

People who rob and rape and cause rampage are not criminals for the same reasons.

I told my lawyer friend that he will have to answer to God for trying to defend a murderer knowing that that man really killed.

No wonder the police comes to a conclusion that crime rate is low. People can rob and kill, and peddle drug and plunder public money because the court do not say they are criminals.

A great many people simply do not know what morality is because they don't have any.

HOW TO DONATE TO RAFIZI ?

When criminals keep their illegal and stolen money in banks nobody can divulge the secret of the crime committed. In many ways criminals have an upper hands over their filthy activities. You hit a robber, he can sue you. You can't keep a weapon to protect your home from rampant robberies and house breakings in your areas.

And now Rafizi was arrested for exposing the illegal use of public funds. Basically the fund given to Shahrizat's family is a public money. That money does not belong to Mahyuddin or Noh or Najib or UMNO. The public has the right to know where the money is kept and what is done with it. In fact the total management of the fund is a public affair.

Even if the money belongs solely to an individual and that we come to discover it is a drug money or money from an illegal sale of weapons it must be divulged. In fact millions and billions of 'illegal money' has been seized by the United States government. Funds suspected belonging to Al-Queda group were seized.

No act of law is meant to protect criminals and their money. And there is no act of law to change the public money to be owned by an individual outright. Rafizi exposed the illegal use of money to buy a couple of condos. It is like an employee who can't report his boss committing a murder. Under OSA a government officer cannot divulge the crimes of the departments.

When we have lost our moral values we can't recognize the right and the wrong. We are asked to say that there is no crime when there are plenty. We are asked not to carry bag to avoid snatch thieves.

You must always be prepared to report a certain crime at your neighborhood. Or else you might not want to report them again.

Let me ask you a simple question; what do you see when Najib appears on TV delivering a fiery speech ?

Sure Win for Najib

Assad is hiding

Najib is sure to win the GE13. FELDA people will put him as a PM again. With big money and the happy smiling faces of the FELDA's folks Najib should not be worried at all. SO LET'S HAVE A GENERAL ELECTION NOW.

Never in my life I have seen a colossal amount of money is given away to get people to vote for UMNO. The last I heard was Marcos who posted cash to the voters, but not as much as what Najib had given away. He has covered almost everyone; the government servants, the normal people and even the pensioners. FELDA get the most, unbelievable amount.

The TV appearance is almost every hour. If those aren't enough there is nothing else I could say. No other Prime Minister ever corrupt the Malaysians for the votes.

If Najib is still scared after all the goodies given, and the successful demonization of Anwar and Rafizi, and even Lim Guan Eng then he is really killing himself. He feared an apparition , the non-existing enemies and unnecessary evil. The talks that Najib's fear of Rosmah has died down with the kind hearted donation of Najib to the poor Malaysians.

Rather than wasting time and effort it better to have the election winner take the seat quickly so that we can continue building our nation. And Najib will be the PM again Mahyuddin as his Deputy. I see him as a winner. But if he sees himself otherwise by a dream or visions unknown to us then we just can stay and wait.

Millions are waiting to put Najib on the throne again. Millions who have receive the billion ringgit given. Just DO IT, and DO IT QUICK.

We want to have another big celebration for the winner.

There had been numerous complaints about the lack of support by ICOM when you problem with your rigs. The expensive IC756 Pro3 gives problem to many buyers. The day the transceiver arrived I only had 50 watts instead 100 watts of output power. Md. Noor had a tough time looking for a technician who can repair his rig. Icom does not service rigs that are off production. It does not keep spare parts.

My Icom 706 MK2 G went kaput not because of the poor rig but because I had abused it in many ways. The first problem was no power output. I sent to Suneast Singapore for repair. It came back with a full 100 watts maximum. Recently after the a series of voltage surges while going mobile it failed to power on. Again I posted back to the same company.

Now I am looking for Kenwood because I believed it produces excellent audio quality. I found the audio sound from stations with Kenwood was of a high quality compared to non-Kenwood stations. I am eyeing for an affordable Kenwood as a back up transceiver.

In the yesteryears YAESU was the best supportive company. But I can't talk or the company today. If it continues with old policy then you can feel secure in purchasing Yaesu. Always send the rig back to the company.

If I have enough money I would just buy the rig that I want to have regardless of it's support. I have to assume that there is a life span for every rig I buy. My MK2G was purchased in 2002. I won't mind even if it explodes after 10 years. My Pro3 is half way thru. And when it goes kaput in 5 years time I am not going to cry over it.

If you like Icom then buy Icom. Don't abuse it and operate the rig according to instruction. If money is your problem then you decide what to buy. It may not end with the best one. Icom is not cheap anymore. The average price is about RM4,5 K.

Use your rig as much as you can, until it goes haywire. It is better then not using it and you can't even switch it on after a long sleep. At time we feel our heavy usage worth the money spent.

OLYMPIC MEDAL CRAZY

Olympic medal count to place the position us really crazy. It is not base on the number of the gold anymore but by the medal count. Do you know why I say it is crazy ? Let's take team A and team B. Team A got 5 gold and team B got 6 bronze, base on the medal count team B is ahead of the the 5 gold winner. It has never been this way before. At the time of this writing Japan won 1 gold and France 4 but the total medal for Japan is13 and France 11. Japan is ahead.

Secondly the report on the Web Site could not be trusted. Several omitted North Korea who won 3 gold. And looking at the medal count we are of the thinking USA and China is of equal strength but in reality China gains 13 gold compared to 9 by USA.

Winners and loser do not mean anything to me and most of us. But for a savage, barbaric and moronic race to win medals it has sentimental and emotional meaning. Washington has been spitting on the Asians and the Muslims inhumanely.

So far I have not seen the chosen race in the least. The God's chosen race is the Jews of Israel. OR are they chosen to kill the unarmed civilians, to chase them out of their houses and to control the United States of America ?

Don't you think there is nothing in the head of Mitchell Obama and Washington when they send the Olympic team to London ? It isn't sports for the sake of sports but sports to depict political superiority. This was what Hitlet had in mind when Olympic was held in Germany.

Is it not co-incidence the medal count methodology has something to do with political agenda ?

Skype with 9M2NZ

I have not been been skyping for quite some time. My maid whose daughter in Pangkalan Brandan Sumatra owns a laptop keep on using a cell-phone to call back Medan, and kept on telling me she missed her children. When I asked for her daughter's email she kept on stalling. I just don't understand her.

Last night 9M2NZ called me on 7.043 MHZ at about 11.30. After a short chat Rashid asked me to go on Skype. I was on my Macbook.has

Rashid did call me several time but I did not notice any call. Some time later we were connected.

Rashid was using Macbook too. The video was sharp and smooth. My internet speed was excellent.

For a 2 person communication Skype is certainly far superior to Ham Radio. I would not imagine what was in Dick Tracy's comic book 65 years ago is now in every home. Thanks to the internet speed that made the video so smooth and clear.

I remember years ago we wanted our kids to be hams so that we could talk to them when they go to study overseas. Other mean of communication was expensive then. Internet is a great blessing.

Rashid's voice was heard thru my mini amplifier speaker. It was loud and clear enough. We chat on all topics until 1.30 am. As usual both of us were shirtless. Needless to say Skype provides more pleasure than the ham radio.
